We had an amazing experience at Schloss Munichau in Reith bei Kitzbuehel. This was our second time staying at the hotel and we were pleasantly surprised by the significant reduction in price compared to our previous visit. The location of the hotel is perfect for accessing some of the best ski resorts in the world within a short drive. The castle itself is a unique and charming place to stay, with its historic vibes and cozy atmosphere. The staff were friendly and helpful, and we particularly enjoyed spending time in the bar, which was always quiet and inviting. The breakfast was delicious and the addition of a swimming pool and beautiful garden provided a great opportunity for relaxation. it was a bargain for such a memorable stay.

Beautiful Olde Worlde Castle in the Austrian alps just outside of world famous Kitzbuhel. Room was spacious and comfortable with breathtaking views of the alps. Staff were excellent, friendly and attentive. Good restaurant with dedicated chef. We loved this hotel. It was the high point of our accommodation on this Austrian tour.

Decor in restaurant. Walls were a rather vivid green. Warmer, more subtle tones are more conducive to a gastronomic dining event.

Incredible Historic Atmosphere: Stepping into this carefully restored 16th-century castle is like stepping back in time, except with modern comforts like satellite TV and a hairdryer in the bathroom. It's like living in a fairytale!

Cleaning and Door Forgets: Occasionally, the cleaning staff forgot a few things. Once, they forgot to clean my room, and twice they forgot to lock the door after cleaning.

the old castle in reith exceeded my expectations. it was a dream to stay in a tower and the authentic atmosphere was amazing. the views from the room were stunning and the rooms themselves were spacious with nice details. the location was convenient for skiing and visiting nearby attractions.

I would have preferred abetter internet service, should be wirelss in the rooms. Would not be expensive to have a small WAP on each floor.

During my stay over the New Year, I was impressed by the amazing appearance of this castle. The restaurant offered delicious food, and the staff was friendly and helpful. The location was also great, with easy access to the ski hill and spectacular mountain views.

I also had some negative experiences during my stay. The parking was inadequate, and we had to park far away from the hotel.
